Brazil ravaged by ‘the small flu’

 





Brazil has one of the the world’s highest rates of COVID-19 infections, at over 7.5 million, and a staggering death toll of nearly 200.000 people. In the poor and densely populated favelas of São Paulo, up to half of all people have suffered from the debilitating epidemic that their own President Bolsonaro has down-played as a “small flu”.
